Polo T Shirts White - Wild Meadows
The exact origin of the polo shirt is still a mistry, but its widely recorded use came in the late 19th century in Manipur, India. and British Soldiers saw a match while stationed in in the small city and they set up the first polo club of its time.
Originally, polo players used thick, long-sleeved shirts made of cotton as their attire for the sport. These shirts were not sport friendly and was uncomfortable and warm for the hot climate. The shirts were updated with a button down collar to make sure the collars wouldn’t flap while playing the sport with the galloping horses but by 1862 the sport was introduced England and they discovered this early version of the polo t-shirt.
